Shipping Policy
Shipping Specifications:
The Photoniq warehouse operates Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm and aims to dispatch orders within 24-48 hours of receipt (excluding weekends and public holidays).
Smaller items like our Face Masks up to 20kg are typically delivered via GLS or Fed-Ex tracked courier service. Once your order is dispatched from our warehouse, you will recieve an email with your parcel tracking details. We ask you to please check your spam folder if you do not recieve an email upon dispatch.
To keep them safe and undamaged, all PHOTONIQ Red Light Panels will typically be delivered via untracked, curb-side pallet delivery. Pallet delivery times are usually 1-3 days after dispatch and although these types of deliveries are untracked, we keep in close contact with our couriers and can provide you with a detailed update should you require it. The delivery driver may also call you up to an hour before delivery to ensure you are home.
Based on your country or location, you may have to apply for a shipping quotation. In this case, we will aim to get back to you with a shipping quote within 1 - 3 working days.
PHOTONIQ reserve the right to cancel and refund any orders placed for delivery where shipping costs are determined to be significantly higher than standard rates. Should a customer request delivery regardless of the increased cost, they will be asked to incur the additional fee. PHOTONIQ reserve the right to determine what level of increase in standard shipping rates constitutes the need to cancel and refund orders.
What is a Pallet Delivery?
To keep our delicate Red Light Panels safe in transit, they will usually be dispatched on a pallet. While there is no online tracking currently available for pallet deliveries, once dispatched, you may expect your order to arrive to your specified delivery destination typically within:
- Ireland: 1-3 business days
- UK: 4-7 business days
- Mainland Europe: 7-14 business days
What do you need to know before placing an order for pallet delivery?
- Pallet deliveries are a CURBSIDE DELIVERY SERVICE ONLY and, for insurance reasons, the delivery driver CANNOT bring your item inside for you. The driver will deliver the order to the curb outside your home or, in some circumstances, will attempt to bring it to the front door if this is easily accessible to them. Should the front door not be easily accessible then the driver will typically leave it at the most convenient location for you.
- If it is not possible to deliver curbside at your home then you MUST advise us of a more suitable location BEFORE we ship the order to ensure minimal disruption to you, as our customer, and also the driver. If prior notice is not given by you, then the driver may not be able to carry out delivery and you can be subject to any additional charges that occur as a result.
- Pallets will not be taken away or disposed of by the courier. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure the pallet is disposed of and/or recycled in a proper manner.
- DRIVERS WILL NOT ASSEMBLE THE PRODUCT for you and are not qualified to do so.
- In some instances, it may not be possible for the driver to provide advanced notice of your delivery, albeit under normal circumstances you will receive a call circa 1-2 hours before the delivery arrives.
- Pallet deliveries are shipped via a nationwide pallet network. This network is serviced by a number of different logistic companies, all based throughout the country and each of which delivering into their own specific territories and/or region(s).
- Once an item has left the PHOTONIQ warehouse it CANNOT be cancelled without incurring a cost. This cost will be directly related to how far the order has progressed within the pallet delivery network and a customer who cancels an order after it has left our warehouse will, at minimum, forfeit the original shipping fee charged when placing their order.
- Similarly, should a customer refuse a pallet order upon delivery, a fee will be incurred. This fee will be deducted from the refunded amount issued to the customer once the product has returned to PHOTONIQ in good merchantable condition. This fee will be directly related to the shipping cost associated with the order in question. In addition to this, a service charge may also be deducted from the refunded amount.
- Please note that in such circumstances, PHOTONIQ will only apply such fees and/or charges that it itself has incurred from the pallet network in the event of a refused/undeliverable order.
- In the event that you notice damage to any aspect of the product and/or it’s packaging on receipt of the pallet, then you MUST advise the driver of same, BOTH verbally and by having the driver note this on BOTH COPIES of the original delivery docket which you will be signing on receipt of the order. Following which you must ALSO advise PHOTONIQ of any such damage within 24 hours of receiving the goods.
- If instructed by the customer, in written or verbal form, pallets can delivered while the consignee is absent. Should the customer approve for a pallet to be delivered while they are not at home, both PHOTONIQ and/or the Pallet Network disclaim liability for any damages that may occur when pallets are left unattended by the customer.
Will I Be Charged for Custom or Import Duties?
PHOTONIQ ships the majority of its products from our offices in Ireland.
All customs and import duties to the United Kingdom are prepaid by PHOTONIQ, you will not be liable for any additional costs for our products upon delivery.
International shipments may be subject to import taxes and/or customs fees. These fees may be applied to some packages by customs agents when a package reaches its destination country. The decision to apply duty to a shipment and the rate charged is at the discretion of the customs agent and is completely outside of the control of PHOTONIQ.
All customs and related charges are the responsibility of the recipient, therefore we ask you to research your national customs policy before purchasing with us.
